Peanut Fudge Rounds
Ingredients
- ¾ c. creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. softened butter
- 1 c. icing sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ½ c. peanuts, chopped
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- ½ c. condensed milk
Directions
In bowl stir peanut butter and softened butter. Add icing sugar, milk and vanilla; stir until well combined. Stir in peanuts. Shape into two 10” rolls.
In pot, combine chocolate pieces and condensed milk. Cook and stir over low heat til melted and smooth. Remove from heat, turn mixture onto wax paper.
Divide mixture in half. Working on wax paper, pat each ½ into a 10x4” rectangle. Place a peanut roll in center of each rectangle. Bring choc mixture up around each roll, press seams to seal.
Wrap in plastic wrap, chill 2-3 hours. Unwrap; carefully cut into ¼” slices.
Store tightly covered.
Note: using partially butterscotch chips makes chocolate too soft.
