Oatmeal Porridge with Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 cups rolled oats(regular)
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup chopped peeled apples
  • ½ cup raisins
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine water, salt and butter in large pot and bring to boil.

    1. Stir in rolled oats, apples, raisins, and cinnamon

    2. Cook 5 minutes at medium heat.

    3. Cover and remove from heat.

    4. Let stand 2 - 3 minutes before serving.
