Oatmeal Apple Porridge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats (regular)
  • 1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Combine water, salt and butter in large pot; bring to full boil.

    1. Stir in rolled oats, apple, raisins, and cinnamon.

    2. Cook 5 minutes at medium heat, stirring occasionally.

    3. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand for 2-3 minutes before serving.
