Ingredients
- ¾ c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ c. molasses
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. ginger
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in egg, add molasses and dry ingredients.
Roll into balls. Flatten with fork.
Bake 375° for 12-15 minutes. Or 350° for 10 minutes
