Ginger Snaps
Ingredients
- ¾ cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. ginger
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in egg and add molasses and dry ingredients.
Roll into small balls.
Roll balls in sugar and place on cookie sheet
Bake @ 375° for 9 min. or 350° for 13 min. (chewier)
