Creamy Chicken & Apples

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. veg oil
- 4 chicken breasts, flattened to ½” thick
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- ½ c. chicken broth
- ¼ c. white wine or apple juice or water
- ¼ tsp. thyme
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 4 medium apples, cored & cut in 1/8” slices
- 1 tbsp. flour
- ¾ c. light cream
Directions
Sauté chicken in oil with onion until golden on both sides.
Reduce heat; add chicken broth, thyme and salt.
Cover; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove chicken from pan.
Add apples to pan; cover and simmer 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Dissolve flour in cream, stir into pan, cook and stir until slightly thickened.
Spoon sauce over chicken.
