Coconut Crisps

Ingredients
- ½ c. shortening
- ½ c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ¾ rolled oats
- ½ c. coconut
- 7/8 c. pastry flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
Directions
Cream shortening.
Add sugar and egg. Beat til fluffy.
Add oats and coconut.
Add dry ingredients.
Chill.
Drop by teaspoon and press gently with a fork.
Bake @325° for 12-15 minutes
